Default Vegas Question: NY, NY or Paris?

I am going to vegas in a couple weeks and I have the option fo staying at either the New York, New York or the Paris hotels. I was wondering if anyone has any input on either of these. Also wondering if there is a poker room in either of these or how close each is from the MGM. Thanks.

no poker room in either. NYNY is close to MGM (great low limit room) and Excalibur (fun white trash room).

Paris is closer to Aladdin (terrible depressing room), and Bellagio.

Paris is a nicer hotel.

Paris. Nice hotel. Right across from Bellagio and with nice rooms and restaurants. Mirage down the street. It wins hands down.

I haven't stayed in either place, but Paris is definitely a nicer hotel. NYNY is closer to the MGM.

Paris without question.
Like previous poster said, Paris has its own poker room and you can quickly get to the poker room of its sister, Bally's next door. Aladdin is also next door the other way and Bellagio is across the street.
NYNY is just an overhead walkway away from the poker rooms Excalibur and the MGM Grand, which I also like.

Ummmmmmm, Paris is the nicer hotel, it has it's own poker room, it's right across from Bellagio, it's right next to Alladin, it's across the street from Flamingo, it's closer to Mirage, it has the better buffet ....

NYNY is closer to Excalibur and MGM

Seems like Paris is a clear winner. If you can get a room facing Bellagio's fountains, it's a no brainer

Low buy in NL (1 or 200 max) , 2/4, and 4/8 limit. No tourneys till the WSOP circuit event. The room is struggling at this point in time. For a place as prestigious as Paris Las Vegas, they really FCKED up this room.

They took out a pit of blackjack tables and put 8 poker tables smack dab in the middle of the casino floor with a measely rope around it. I think it's terrible what Harrah's has done to yet another poker room which should have been quality all the way.

It shudders me to think what they are going to do to Caesars when it opens.
