Don't you raise this preflop?

I'd bet the pot on the flop since T kicker isn't great. Then I think I woulda pushed on the turn. Why let spades draw cheap?

I missed he didn't raise preflop. I would either raise it or dump it in that position but I'd probably just fold with so many behind me.

This is a hand that you need to raise preflop. Any hand you come in for at this stage you should raise, there is too good of a chance that you steal the blinds (gap concept). If there are limpers in front of you, by all means limp behind them and play this in a multiway pot. Otherwise fold.

You lost to AJ, KQ, or a set. Right?

Pretty sure he didn't lose to AJ or KQ, unless they were spades.

I agree, with the others, your hand is strong, you're first in, and the blinds are too important to you for you not to raise this pre-flop. I'd much sooner fold then I would call, but I'd rarely do either in your spot.

Not in EP and also I had just raised KJo the hand before and someone who had me covered went all in,so I decided to play this one a little tentatively.

You're in middle position and I would agree with the others that a fold is better than a limp.

I hated this hand from the moment I saw it,AT and me have a very bad history whether Im raising or not,I felt the second I called that I had made a mistake and then the A flopped so I lead out when he just called I reckoned he had an Ace weak kicker but how weak.

It turned out he had A9 suited in spades and hit his flush when I hit 2pr.

I had also got bounced from one table to another about 3 times in quick succession so I had no read whatsoever on any opponants at this table.

I had called hoping not to get re raised and dumping if I had,I was looking for a flush draw and went on to play this hand like a patsy.

This is a clear raise or fold preflop. Limping gives you no ability to get a read on anyone who decides to stay in. And as an added bonus, many times you steal the blinds.
