Please don't take this the wrong way, this isn't a flame or slam. But if you're paying for plane fare, rental car, and hotel just to play low-limit poker, does the rake really matter that much? Are you really looking to make a 'profit'? Meaning after expenses?

Since the beginning of 2002 there is no more dead drop on the button in any of the Los Angeles clubs. Drop is now taken from the pot. The Bike does spread 1/2 holdem (and a lot of 1/2 Omaha).
