Well if this is any indication of what we have to look forward to from a Party Sportsbook... They will get a lot of business

LOL let's hope this is true

Although the more I think about this the more I'm thinking this could be a real problem for Party. Usually when companies do these kinds of promotions (get a hole in one win a million bucks, if it snows more than 3 inches on New Years day win a car etc.) they buy insurance to cover themselves in the event that someone actually wins. I don't know if Party would have bought insurance for this promotion, but if they did then messing up this question probably just invalidated their policy. Of course it could be that putting the line at 43 instead of 33 was intentional and not a mistake.

For a company that generates as much profit as PartyPoker does, there is no way they would get an insurance policy on an amount as small as 1 million dollars.

Thanks. I read that above but I thought it was referring to the final question.

That seems kinda silly!

FWIW... I sent them an email recommending that they at least have a status page showing your results for each week!

Yeah its kind of ridiculous that I am so worried when I donk off my money so many other ways in poker but I am curious how much hassle I will get before getting paid for week 1 due to question incident.

I just like to collect money from party wherever I can.

Default Status page for football questions coming soon

It looks like Party is working on a status page. I got the following response in an email from VIP Poker Customer Care:

"At this moment in time we are unable to check how many of last weeks questions you have answered correctly.

However, we are planning to have a link put up in the "my account section" of the website through which players will be able to check the status of all the answers given by them in the next few days."
