Default QQ early, raised, two limpers and a re-raise

I sat down in the C/O and posted, and this is the 7th hand I have played, so reads are VERY limited. All I can really say is that the villain seems relatively tight, but maybe he has just had crap cards. Note that there are two other blinds in this hand, one who missed his blinds and has posted both, and a new player.

(with two cold callers left to act)

I guess there are four options:

Call, which must be bad as it will give odds to the two players who coldcalled my initial raise;

Fold (I doubt it!)

Raise some amount to get it heads up, which re-opens the betting round, and any re-raise will basically pot commit villain;

Push.

Thoughts?

- Raise 4xbb, not 6xbb. There's no limpers so there's no reason to create some huge pot.

- Call. With the money in the pot you're getting good pot odds to draw out on AA and KK, especially if the two others call. Because you were reraised, you're now playing QQ for set value. Flop a set, win insane amounts of money. Don't flop a set, fold the hand to a large flop bet, especially if there's an A or a K.

- Never push with QQ. The only hands you get called with are AA, KK, and AKs.

Thanks, that is all good. I raised 6x's because of the extra blinds, but you are right, they are not limpers, and thus should not be given too much weight for anything other than a random hand until they show otherwise. Going 6x's just made the pot bigger.

Pre-flop raise might be a little bit much, I generally raise to $.50, but $.60 isn't awful. I also wouldn't worry about the two other villains in the hand as there is a very good chance that you are behind here. I think that at absolute best, you are splitting with QQ and are more than likely up against AA or KK. Reraising an UTG raise with 2 coldcallers shows extreme strength to me, so OOP, I just call and play for set value.

wyrd,

this is a $10NL game, I think raises here could mean anything. Get all-in pf.

Why? He has the 3rd best hand possible right now. Go to 6xBB or 10xBB or whatever xBB you feel that worse hands will still call. Investing while you are ahead is a good thing.
