New affiliates

Poker room advertises 40% for affiliates. Does a new person signing up an affiliate actually get 40% or does that require some large volume of MGR? If not, whats the minimum?

It's a lot higher than 10k to receive 40%. A new affiliate gets about 30% after referring their first player.
