2 pair in Stars $50+5
I'm just limping trying to hit a flop. Villain has been making very small raises PF almost every time. I'm comfortable calling one of his dinkish raises.

Flop hits me but I want to keep this pot small. I also figure I'll let villain keep bluffing. Ok that card just gave me 2 pair. I feel very solid, especially against this player. After a series of min-raises we are eventually all-in. so much for keeping the pot small. i think i tried to be too tricky here. should i be raising alot more? what if he re-raises? Re: 2 pair in Stars $50+5
J6o? Why? What flop are you looking for?
His pf raise oop usually means a strong hand, so when he comes over the top of you on the turn, I'd put him on AA-JJ, 99, or AK-Jh or d. You should have stuck with your original plan of keeping the pot small and hope he doesn't push if he has the set. I would have just called his turn reraise and river bet because he looks like he's playing an overpair. I think a read would be very helpful here. If he's been at your table for over a level and has been playing loose and poorly, I'd have no problems going to the felt here. If he seems tight and smart, I'd be much more concerned and would fold if he pushed all-in on the river. |

I was on the table when that hand went down. Lol, I thought the series of bets was hilarious, if you were going for amusement that is..... guy had 99 right?
In all honesty that series of bets should have slowed you down a little right preflop raise T99, flop bet T99.... you didn't sense maybe.....99? |

Re: 2 pair in Stars $50+5
Um.... fold preflop instead of limp. Fold when the BB raises you. Raise the flop to find out where you stand and likely win the pot right there.
By "letting him keep bluffing" you are also "letting him keep value betting". On the turn, wtf is the point of that miniraise? It does nothing other than get a much smaller amount of money in the pot than you probably could. Make a real value raise. |

Re: 2 pair in Stars $50+5
What was the purpose of the min-raise to 666 on the turn, if he's chasing the flush you are pricing him in.
