($27) ITM sanity check
SB is very very tight. I guarantee that the SB doesn't bet postflop here into the dry pot unless they have 2 pair or better.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (ante t50) (3 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter SB (t6595) Hero (t5505) Button (t1400) Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Button raises to t1400, SB calls t1050, Hero calls t750. |

Re: ($27) ITM sanity check
love it...but you don't have to be loose to bet this flop with nothing, you just have to be focking stupid. But I like the play a lot.

Re: ($27) ITM sanity check
What about a push preflop that the sb will almost definitely fold if he is as tight as you say he is? You get incredible pot odds as likely only a 60-40 dog. If you're gonna bet the flop anyway, why not just do it now and not give him a chance to catch something?

Re: ($27) ITM sanity check
he is not going to bet the flop. He is saying the SB won't bet it, so they can check it down to try and elminate.
On a side not I don't like pushing here for an overlay, cause I will ruin my image at this high of a level. If this was a lower level and I have time to set a decoy, then maybe. You know what I mean??? There's just not enough time to change gears and get him to fall for a trap. You need a good image to steal those blinds after this hand, no matter who wins it. |
