Default ($27) ITM sanity check

SB is very very tight. I guarantee that the SB doesn't bet postflop here into the dry pot unless they have 2 pair or better.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (ante t50) (3 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

SB (t6595)
Hero (t5505)
Button (t1400)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Button raises to t1400, SB calls t1050, Hero calls t750.

love it...but you don't have to be loose to bet this flop with nothing, you just have to be focking stupid. But I like the play a lot.

What about a push preflop that the sb will almost definitely fold if he is as tight as you say he is? You get incredible pot odds as likely only a 60-40 dog. If you're gonna bet the flop anyway, why not just do it now and not give him a chance to catch something?

I'm not gonna bet the flop anyway, I plan to check it down unless I make 2 pair or better.

he is not going to bet the flop. He is saying the SB won't bet it, so they can check it down to try and elminate.

On a side not I don't like pushing here for an overlay, cause I will ruin my image at this high of a level. If this was a lower level and I have time to set a decoy, then maybe. You know what I mean??? There's just not enough time to change gears and get him to fall for a trap. You need a good image to steal those blinds after this hand, no matter who wins it.
