Default TPMK in a limp pot gets CR\'ed

No reads on SB

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, CO calls, SB raises, Hero...

I have no idea what SB could have. A flush draw or a monster or anything?? I can see valid reasons for all three options here. (call, fold, 3-bet)

This is the best time every for a read. No reads on SB means that any play here can be correct. Against an unknown I would feel uncomfy...probably just call and fold the turn UI to a bet out

Call and fold if you don't improve. There isn't much you can beat here - you would fold right away but you don't want to encourage your opponents to take shots at you.

You have position, so 3-bet now. Then it's an easy fold if it's capped or if the SB bets the turn.

I fold here. Your hand won't play well against anything worth raising here, even if SB just has you outkicked. I think calling the raise is a waste of chips.

yeah i like the 3-bet line. figure out cheaply where you are now than on the more expensive streets. plus you face the field to cold call.

hopefully you'll not only get it HU, but you can get a free turn card...hopefully. capped or bet into on the turn, let it go.

I hate the 3 bet line, your proboly beat, he proboly had top pair with a better kicker and is trying to protect his hand by the check raise.

Villian can't be protecting his hand here as the bet came from his right.

Anyhow, I also hate 3 betting here. Seems like spewing chips to me as I can't figure out what villian can realistically have which we beat.

True dat... You also have 5 overcards to dodge, sounds like a nice warm cup of 'reverse implied odds' to me.. There's enough in the pot to call 1 more, drawing to the 5-outer (and pray you arent facing a set), and fold the turn UI.
