mmmm id be more inclined to do this w/o a J on the board

he re-raised from the blinds pre-flop, overbet flop. i dont know about this particular villain, but i see AA-JJ a lot here. youre really only good against QQ, KK i dont mind seeing, but AA/JJ have you in bad shape.

make it a rag flop with 2 diamonds and i probably do this everytime

So, are you folding here? Or taking one card off and re-evaluating?

well assuming he only has a pair thats not AA/KK
your 50/50, and atleats your the one pushing rather than calling..

a raise would work too.. but.. i've pushed with less. haha

Postflop I like the way you played the hand.

I would have raised a little more preflop.

I think pushing is fine. I'm putting villain on a pp as the only hand of any consequence so you're in the lead w flush draw and oc's. I wonder, however, if you think there is any chanca at all that he will slow down on the turn if you call his flop bet. You have position so I wonder how often he must slow down for you not-pushing to be profitable. Also, we would have to calculate how often you will get the rest of his chips on the river and how often if he does check the turn and you check behind *and* you miss the river that you can bluff him off.
