zacherley - the "monster mash" guy. most of his songs are cool.
screaming lord sutch - story the cramps the revillos - graveyard groove , do the mutilation, graveyard groove , she's fallen in love with a monster man, jack the ripper.. the misfits horror hop , and monster bop compilations are both pretty good for monster rock. the groovie ghoulies have some songs that would be good for halloween theme too. ramones 'pet cemetery' possibly a few others .. insults - 'zombie lover' sonics - 'witch' screamin' jay hawkins - 'i put a spell on you' umm, i dunno. you probably want people to know the songs at your party. but they're good for setting the halloween mood ! if you want any spooky tunes let me know, but most people don't like this stuff.

misfits as mentioned above is a good choice.
you could do like a theme of bands that wear makeup and/or costumes... kiss, ICP, slipknot and such
