Default Preflop question

party 5/10 six max.

UTG limps(47/12), your next with KTo. raise/call/fold? Whats the lowest you go here?

Lots of guys here love KTo in early position. I hate it and fold there, unless MP, CO, and UTG are all super tight nits, in which case I wouldn't be at the table anyway.

I think you've misread the post, i'm in MP.

I'm also a hater, however the point that was made is that an UTG 47/12 limps, i have KTo which crushes his range so i should raise to get it heads up.

Oops.. but what I'm saying still holds. If I have a 35-45/10 and 30/20 left to act behind me, I'm dumping it, as I can't expect to isolate this guy often enough. If they're both tight wimps, then yeah, I'll pop it.

I open raise from MP with KT.

I would also raise after one limper.

Hi KidColin-

So what do you do if you only have reads on this first player? Assume the CO, button and blinds are typical 5/10 players.

(Disclaimer: I have a vested interest in this hand as the post stemmed from a hand review discussion between me and the OP. I RRRRAISE KTo in this spot all day long.)
