your "WOW" list seems extensive. do you just not watch movies that often? or is it that you just watch the same set over and over?

that's a good question, but I'm not really sure. if I had to guess, I probably watch movies at about an average or slightly below average rate, but I've seen most all of the movies on your WOW list and then some.

there should be criminal charges allowed to be brought up against folks who make this comment. this movies simply fantastic and all awards are warranted!

Its quite funny but the best movies adapated to screenply from Stephen King were his short stories and those movies are all great.

Not quite true

Shawshank and Stand by me were 2 from a collection of 4 novellas bound under the book title 'Different Seasons'

Several decent ones have come from novels; Carrie, Dead Zone, Misery, arguably The Shining (arguable in the sense that King sort of disowned it). Green Mile was a serial of 6 mini-books! (first one since forever, and I don't think there's been one since).

The short storiy-based films have been fair to awful (fair==cats eye, awful==maximum overdrive)

Of the top 50 grossing films I have not seen

31. Jaws (1975)
and maybe
49. Ghost (1990) (Although I vaguely remember seeing this when it first came out, which would put me at 5 or 6.)
