Default Can DSklansky beat the $4/8k

Can DS beat the $4/8k mixed game for at least .5 BB per hour if he played it whenever it was available? (5 hours every day for a 200/365 days a year)

Does it matter? And can anyone here actually say could evaluate both his play and the 4k/8k game enough to know?

I doubt it, but I'm sure David would tell you differently.

david should openly tell you that he cannot beat the 4/8k game with its regular lineup, and if he thinks that he can then hes not being realistic. you guys are ridiculous.

He might say he has the IQ to beat the game in the long run if he tried...

I don't think David has the roll to play the game anyway, and, not having the roll, he probably doesn't have the resolve to ride the swings in the 4k/8k game either. Very few people do.

Also, david's game selection is obviously good enough that he would avoid the game in the first place.

Yep, that's why he makes a living at poker, although playing at it's highest level he would not fare all that well. It's nothing against David, I'd just say maybe 10-15 at the most in the world can beat that game (and numbers 6-15 would probably be better off playing a softer game).

Why do you say this? What is your rating of the skill of the regular players in this game as compared to the best players beating 300-600ish mixed games?

Skill wise, not as good as the regulars in the 4k-8k. You can correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think anyone (ie the best poker player in the world) can beat the 4/8k mixed game for .5 BB an hour. DS might be able to break even or beat the game, but I really doubt he can beat it for .5 BB an hour.

No one can. No one who plays would even say they can. No one on this forum should think anyone can or should think anyone who plays would say they can
