Default The Grandfathered in Rule

limit changes from $5 to $10 in a las vegas table game.
is there a general "casino law" or gaming commission law that enforces the casino to enable you to wager the $5 as long as you stay at that same table... etc etc. - u know what i mean... ?

there's no "law". it's each casino's own discretion. that's why they announce the table minimum increasing with 30 minutes advance notice.

I don't think it's a law, just customer service to allow a player or two to stay there and continue to bet the min. But I've seen the casino go the other way and make the players raise their bets or leave the table, so I think it's on a case by case basis.

the golden rule in vegas:

he who has the gold makes the rules...

more player oriented shops; such as horseshoe in downtown vegas when run correctly by jack used to always let a player stay at his table until he left; at the same stakes he came in at...i rember playing at a 5 min table; a high roller came up sat in 1st base; i was about middle of table; and the limit was changed to 500 min; but i was allowed to keep varying my bets from 5 to 25....and , probably the new player did not ask to have table to self; get rid of lo playerz; of course they knew i was a counter; and probably wereusing me to see if big player was casing the deck; he was a gambler and lost a telephone number; while i made 75/hr

gl

p.s. in vegas the casino can do anything they want...
