KK against pretty LAGish player
Party 2/4 NL 6 Max
Hero is UTG with KhKs, raises to 14. SB calls everyone else folds. The SB is very aggressive and prety loose and bets draws a lot, but I've never seen him too crazy by calling huge all ins with crap. Flop is 10d, Jd, 6c. ($32) Hero bets $25 to prety much entice him to come over the top, that's what he likes to do, and Hero gets check-raised to $75. There are a bunch of scare cards that can hit on this next card, so Hero?? |

Call, lead non Ace turn. [/ QUOTE ] uhhh, hero is last to act. That being said, I might just push here. Villain certainly can easily have a set here. If he is one to bet his draws frequently though, I'd be more inclined to push. |

Re: KK against pretty LAGish player
I push in this situation. He could easily be on something like middle pair, top kicker, or a straight draw. In this kind of a situation, I'm either reraising quite a bit or pushing.

Re: KK against pretty LAGish player
When he CRs, you need to decide if you want to risk your stack with this hand. I would push since your read is LAG

Re: KK against pretty LAGish player
if you know he will autofire on the turn, be on the non draw draw... meaning, just call here and auto raise him on any turn all in... unless he has KdQd or 8d9d, he has likely 8 or 9 outs if he is on a draw... let him miss and bet the pot anyway then put him all in... if you just put him all in because he is on a draw you are not punishing his LAG style enough.
some people don't like this because they say you're not charging him enough to draw - but hell you were only going to charge him 25 to begin with and he made it 75. i definitely like a call, turn all in if you know he will fire. this is assuming you are not afraid to get it all in with this hand (he could obviously have set/2 pr, is that a chance you're willing to take? |

Thanks for the replies. I ended up pushing on the flop, becasue there were just way too many cards I didn't want to see on the turn. ie any card 8-A, except a K and that might even be bad and any diamond, and I really didn't feel like putting in the majority of my stack on a shitty turn card that could very well leave me drawing dead or close to it.
If I was in a more gambling mood I would have just called and pushed the turn if he led into me. He folded. |
