How much are you willing to risk?
say your very rich friend wants to make some prop bets with you, offering to lay you +EV odds for one time only bets.
how much of your overall personal current wealth are you willing to wager in these different independent bets? 1. He offers you 10 to 1 for a coin flip. 2. He offers you 1.1 to 1 for a coin flip. 3. He offers you 50 to 1 for a 5 sided dice. 4. He offers you 5.5 to 1 for a 5 sided dice. 5. He offers you 200 to 1 for a 50 sided dice. 6. He offers you 100,000 to 1 for a 100 sided dice. |

Re: How much are you willing to risk?
I would never bet my house, nor my "living bankroll".
Given gambling bankroll of $5k: 1) All of it. 2-6) $500 edit: I would bet my car or motorcycle on #1 also. I can always get another pleasure vehicle. I would not bet my work truck. |
