Well, I had to read it twice to get your meaning. Gabe is right in that a) the convention is to refer to 15-30 as the "15" game, not the "30" game; and b) while he's not quite as old as you and I, he's close.

cool, what kind of rifle?

You definitely need to strut about with it and drape bandoliers of ammunition all over your person while doing so.

Hollywood Park is a crap hole. I love it.

Also, I like it how it's mostly scared money and welfare players.

Thanks for the correction Gabe. I was ignorant of the Los Anelegs convention on the quick and dirty name for different games. I think I have goofed on this before. I really don't like the 'LA convention' because I naturally think about games by the big blind etc.

All is forgiven and forgotten. An easy accomplishment for us Old Men.

I'll probably get the Ruger Mini-30 (larger magazines easily available) Rifle

This is an excellent model firearm with enough knockdown power for most things encounter in day-to-day life and it takes standard NATO ammo. Thus making it a wise choice for the tactical and combat minded in addition to being a top-notch gun for all around situations: gaming, protection from government goons, defense against the criminal element (I'm repeating myself somewhat on that one), tactical assault uses, home and national security options in case of take over or invasion by tyrants or religious fanatics, (homegrown or otherwise) and/or power-hungry Chinese warlords, not to mention South American drug Kingpins and the La Costa Nostra.

I apologize if I have inadvertently left out any groups, peoples, or nations. Rest assured, I have a grudge against them all.

Peace is at hand. - Richard Nixon

Enough said, methinks.

In that event you shall have to get to Idaho again. I might, just might have a case of 7.62 ammo. I maybe have a toy that has been sitting for a long while new in its box. I am so lazy that I might not have bothered to shoot such a toy. I would like to see a head to head comparison of a commie workhorse against your sensitive American rifle. Could be fun. 1000 round case waiting to be shot up wastefully through hi cap mags. I have the ammo. You bring whisky and rotting melons.

Different rounds. Sensitive american rifle: 7.62 NATO; commie workhorse: 7.62 short.

I stand corrected; it's right there on the web site. Interesting choice of cartridges. It seems like I once saw a Ruger in .308, but didn't find it on their list. Must be getting old...
