Default short-handed 2 pair...get all the chips in on this turn?

Hey all,

3 handed 3/6 nl @ stars. These 2 hands occur within about 5 minutes of each other. Considering the action in the first hand, and ignoring the flop play in hand #2, are you willing to get your chips in on the turn of the second hand? Thanks.

*EDIT* - Opponent has just recently joined game before hand #1, so no real reads for hand #2 other than hand #1 action

ummm....no, because I fold flop on hand 2. Furthermore, if he's a 2+2r, he's probably not just blowing money like crazy. Hand #1 was a big bluff, he probably won't pull that again within 5 minutes. Most people that get caught with a huge bluff, don't try it again with air so quickly.

You really really played hand 2 like a chump...sorry. I can't think of one street that seems okay.

more or less agree on hand #2 analysis. However, a few specific questions about preflop and flop...

preflop - completing here is totally out of the question 3-handed? Is clear fold or raise?

flop - calling his raise w/ plan to make a move if a spade comes? meh? calling raise here because it's 3-handed? meh? calling raise here because I feel like 2 pair, set, or 3rd spade is enough to take the pot? meh? calling raise because I'm still stung about previous hand even though I'm trying to convince myself I'm not? meh?

[/ QUOTE ]well I guess it depends on how aggressive BB is...if he's not that aggressive, I don't mind limping I guess.

I dunno....it's a good way to bleed money, especially if HE has the flush draw.

calling raise here because it's 3-handed? meh?

[/ QUOTE ]huh? your hand is still MP no kicker, no redraw.

[ QUOTE ]
calling raise here because I feel like 2 pair, set, or 3rd spade is enough to take the pot? meh?

[/ QUOTE ]TRIPS, not set. And your outs are weak at best, since they are ALL tainted, b/c you don't know what your opp has really.

calling raise because I'm still stung about previous hand even though I'm trying to convince myself I'm not? meh?

[/ QUOTE ]leave table or suck it up =P

I was also not real impressed when you bet full pot on flop with MP and STILL called a raise...
