Stud/8 SnG hand - middle stages
Villain should have been eliminated a while ago but caught a lucky river card to win half a big pot earlier to stay alive.
Other than that, he's a pretty weak and loose player so could have any hole cards. Re: Stud/8 SnG hand - middle stages
As a STT strategy, I might bail on fourth. I don’t see anywhere else to fold.

To elaborate
At this stage of a STT, lucky is better than good - I think. You have less than 6 BB. Lately, I have been dumping these hands on 4th, but the jury may still be out. One of your 6’s is dead and I am prejudiced against small pairs in Stud/8 anyway.
At this point in a Stud/8 STT I am looking for big pairs and big scary door cards (with some weight behind) so I can put pressure on the others. I’m not going to play a low draw unless I have three wheels or an Ace. Maybe my STT game is as goofy as my ring game, but right now I dump this on 4th. |

Re: Stud/8 SnG hand - middle stages
Personal opinion: When your stack falls below 10BB forget about normal play. If it happens, wait for a good situation and try to exercise whatever folding equity you might have. At this table, with everyone small stacked, you probably have a lot of it.
Don't risk your stack on a dead pair of sixes. Fold 4th |
