Default Washington D.C.

I'll be in DC for a week in mid-June. Where's the nearest casino/cardroom? Or am I SOL?

AC is the closest but not that close.
There is at least one bus company (Martz) that makes full day excursion to AC allowing about 6+ hrs at the table. I go with a friend, good bus, movie, no driving and casino rebate makes the cost very low.
it is 3 hrs each way

Thanks. The groom is wanting to have a poker day instead of a traditional bachelor party. We might do that bus trip.

Don't know about DC, but I've seen NYC craiglist postings about games with a topless dealer who does more than just toss cards.

*nudge* *nudge*
*wink* *wink*

Sounds perfect for a bachelor party...

FWIW, here is the company's web site. It says the Atlantic City trips are $35 -- is that one-way or round-trip? Do you remember the amount of the rebate?

No casinos for miles, but DC is the greatest city in the world, so you're not completely SOL.
