Default How is Titan poker?

I just finished the Absolute bonus and I'm at a loss as to where to go next. I have $550 and saw the Titan 100% up to $500 bonus on PSO. 3500 "stars" at 3 stars per raked hand at .50/1 and 6 at 1/2 (which I'm probably going to take a shot at soon) means only about 1200 raked hands, or 600 at 1/2. Considering the $150 bonus at Absolute took me 1,500 raked hands to clear, this seems reasonable.

I assume the site is tiny and has super tight tables, but is it worse than Absolute's three .50/1 20% VPIP tables at any given time? Is it unreputable? Or are there any other good reasons I shouldn't partake in this free bankroll doubler?

FWIW, I've cleared Party, Pacific, Absolute, Paradise, Stars, bet365, SportingBet, and Casino.net. Apparently the ex-Party skins are crap now, and the Pokerroom and Full Tilt bonuses look like they'd take FOREVER, so I'm struggling to find my next bonus. Any help is appreciated.

WEll I'm pretty sure the 3500 stars is for the PSO promotion only. You will still have to clear the bonus at 1000 stars per $10.

I'm probably gonna sign up there this week and look at it this way. 4000 stars and I get $40 of bonus money plus I can get 9000 PSO points which is basically $90 cash.

As for the games I have no idea how soft or what kind of traffic, I guess I'll see you around those tables this week, perhaps...

Wait.. 1,000 stars per $10? That's 333 raked hands per $10, for 16,650 raked hands??? I would NEVER clear that bonus!

Careful with that - it's not 6 stars per raked hand at 1/2, it's 6 stars per raked hand at 1/2 blinds, meaning you have to play 2/4 to get the max # stars per hand. The low limit tables were fairly loose, and I cleared my PSO promo there without any difficulty.

Games are very soft.

6 stars for 1/2 means 1/2 blinds, so it is really 2/4 limits.

Ah ok, thanks (PennDisc too) for clarifying that.

I signed up recently at Titan. After a week I look at it as though I will clear 4000 stars so I get the PSO bonus and $40 in Titan bonus.

As for the rest of the $460 in bonus available to me, it will only be cleared if I reach the conclusion that I like their site and play there for reasons other than the bonus.

In conclusion, Titan should be played for the PSO bonus and not the $500 bonus. If you happen to like it you may clear somewhere close to the $500 but it will take time. Still undecided if I will stick around after 4000 stars.

P.S. They give you $10 if you deposit right when you download the software.

The same can be said of the Full Tilt bonus. You can complete the PSO bonus at Full Tilt in less than two hours of $100NL, but the 100% deposit bonus will take 6-10x as long.

But the PSO bonus is so simple, everyone should do it.
