Default Play against PokerBob

This is a hand I just played at Canterbury Park 15/30. You are villain. You are a good TAG, PokerBob views you as such. He has seen you raise 98s in EP. You play well postflop. PokerBob respects your play.

PokerBob posts a BigBlind +SB in the CO after taking a piss and missing his blind. UTG limps (total fish...VPIP 50-60, but plays decent postflop...and he's running good), 2 folds, you look down at A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and raise, 1 fold, PokerBob thinks and 3-bets, everyone folds (even UTG), you 4-bet, PBob calls (5 bets at CP is a cap...PBob did not cap).

Flop (HU) (10.67SB) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

You bet, PokerBob raises,.....what's your line the rest of the way?

Check/call the whole way unless the turn is checked through. In that case bet river.

Edit: Its impossible to win a lot with this board out of position, so the goal is to minimize losses.

I don't really understand your flop raise against a thinking player unless you have exactly JJ (and to a much lesser extent AA). I wouldn't like a raise with AA as much since it is less likely that the villian has an ace (and he probably has KK or QQ that missed).

At any rate I don't really like the spot I am in with my AK. There is no hand that I can beat unless you are trying to exploit this A-high flop with a hand like 99. I don't think it really matters what I do here as long as I don't give you appreciable action. So I would just call the raise now and play dumb for the rest of the hand unless an ace or king hits the turn. I would probably have to stop and go either one of them (a king at least).

Why no fold to the river raise here? You think Bob is going to be raising that river with AQ or KK-QQ?

I need to know more about PokerBob.

Specifically, does he wash his hands after taking a piss?

If not, I fold because I don't want his [censored] chips.

Otherwise, c/c and bet out on river.

3-bet, call down to further aggression, you have AQ.

edit: I change my mind I am calling and raising the turn (folding to further aggression).

Raising this flop with AQ is pretty bad unless he feels like the villian will call all the way with KK or QQ. If PBob has AQ and gets 3-bet he probably has to fold then and there. He is drawing to a Q some of the time and to runner runner the rest.

Yep - both players know who each other are, so are able to put each other on very specific hand ranges.
