It's funny that he can still be criticized by 2+2ers, seeing as his posts in the archive have most likely molded most of the great MTTers of this forum into what they are today.

Word. Honestly, I owe the guy like $75k for his fair cut. He nearly single handedly taught me how to play poker.

1 Scotty Nguyen $ 200,000
2 Eric Weiner $ 180,000
3 Greg Raymer $ 150,000
4 Joseph Cordi $ 145,000
5 Al Boston $ 130,000
6 Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi $ 130,000
7 Josh Arieh $ 120,000
8 Senthil Kumar $ 120,000
9 Andy Bloch $ 100,000
10 Thor Hansen $ 100,000

a few minutes left to play. Remember this is heat 1, so these leaders who are obviously in great shape could still fall afew places in the standings. Whoever is backing Scotty is pretty happy now though.

Note---Starting chips counts are 50k for this event, not the normal 10k.

Its possible but if you goto www.pokerwire.com and click the chip count link under this update "WPT Championship
Apr 18, 2005
15:18:04 ET Heat One Begins
The cards are in the air for half of the tournament players. The other half of the field will play tomorrow. Please remember this when looking at any chip counts, etc." You will notice 64 players with 50k in chips, so im just guessing starting chips is 50k. WPT Championship
