Default Bellagio 3K hand

First level, blinds 25 - 50 have a little more than initial starting chips.

Button, an older guy has played very tight raised to 150. i quickly call in big blind with AJ.
Flop come out 3 rags i make a half size pot bet that is called. Turn is A i check and call a pot sized bet. Final card is an A button bets 2K, a slight overbet of the pot, i call fairly quickly.

Button has AK and i lose about half starting chips.

My reasoning behind the play was even a fairly tight player would likely raise a hand worse than AJ on the button.
Major problem with the hand was i had very little read on his play but in the past i have generally folded too easily in these spots.

Any opinions on the hand.

Try not to make trips when your opponent has a better kicker.
