I know what you are saying...thankfully netflix is pretty quick (they have overnight delivery to 75% of the country last I heard) and the selection is just insane. You can always go back to blockbuster occasionally if you want to see THIS movie right now.

Depends how much of a movie buff you are. You can always record them and watch them later, and use your local store for your impulse viewing. Plus, Netflix does have a pretty huge selection that you won't be able to duplicate in an online store. You can get 300 or 500 in your queue without much problem.

Then I guess you'll just have to keep asking your mom to go to the videostore for you...

Right now I have a Blockbuster movie pass that's about 25 bucks a month for unlimited rentals. The Blockbuster is about 2 minutes from my house, and I'm an extremely whimsical person. I hear everyone talking about how good Netflix is, but if I had to pick my DVD's out 3 days in advance, I'd probably not be interested in watching them by the time they got to me. However, I am often extremely frustrated by the lack of selection at my Blockbuster. They don't even have 90's stuff like Magnolia or Ed Wood, much less some other older films that people have recommended to me like Blue Velvet, Pink Flamingos, etc.

Do you think your typical 20 year old with a 10 minute attention span would be better off with Netflix? Or should I stick with Blockbuster? Thanks,

-Brian
