Flush on turn; fold to 3-bet?

Had a couple flush draws tonight that I'm not sure I played correctly, playing the draws too passively in multiway pots and perhaps hanging on to made flushes too much as well. This hand may be an example of both. Fire away.

Shorthanded table, not six-max. Villian is slightly LAGish, and I saw some fairly agressive post-flop play (very agressive with middle pair and an overcard for example). Starts are 29/5/2.8 over seventy hands. UTG is a oose-passive fish.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, CO Villan calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, Villan raises, Button 3-bets, Hero calls, UTG calls, Villan calls.

Cap the flop here with the flush draw but not the nut flush draw?

Turn: (8.50 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, Villan bets, Button calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, Villan 3-bets, Button calls, Hero . . .

The three-bet here in the face of my check-raise is scary. Fold to the three-bet? Call down?

There is no way you can fold this. He could be 3-betting a lone diamond. You have to call this down. Maybe capping the turn is best. Worst case scenario is you check/call the river on a fourth diamond.

Definately call down.

He could just have a set, or two pair, etc given your read.

Plus you will river the straight flush.

If you were going to fold to a 3-bet, why did you see the turn in the first place?

If you never fold a made, 2-card flush when an aggressive player plays back at you, you'll end up with more money than you started with. I watched a guy earlier tonight go 4 bets on the turn with 3 clubs showing, then call 1 bet on the river. His opponent turned the K-high flush. The LAG was holding the naked A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

I'm not going to put any more raises in on this hand, and if a fourth diamond comes on the river and it ends up two or more bets to you then I could see a fold, but otherwise I will call down in this situation 100% of the time.

i cap because you're getting a lot of value with 3 other players in the hand likely to come along. it may mean, however, that a diamond falling makes your hand no good, but we're ahead here enough to pump this. plus, if we are behind a larger flush we can sitll river the 7 for the straight flush (lame, since it's 1 out, but it's possible). basically, you're getting value with your cap, because someone with the lone A of diamonds isn't going to call a bet on the river unless they hit but they certainly aren't folding here.

Can i say this...bust a CAP in their asses? or is that just too lame?
