Default 6 Max Hand Selection

I have SSHE and Im pretty good with the preflop hand selection. Im wondering what changes need to be made to it when playing the 6 max tables? Would u be less like like to play the drawing hands due to less limpers? Raise more with any J10, Q10, etc kind of hand? Whats your opinion?

There is a whole forum devoted to this topic. Heads-up & Short-handed (commonly refered to as HUSH).

<================ Look over there!!!

Lots of us here suck at short handed, so go ask the experts...

Yes, high card strength becomes even more important. Drawing hands become less so.

If you know how to deviate from the starting hand charts when the first four people in full ring fold, you've got a good start on 6max. If you don't, start there. (This forum has lots of good examples. You can also dig up some of your own hands that fit that profile.)

Treating it like a full ring game where the first 4 players have folded is a really good setup to start with.
Dont openlimp, if you are first in and want to play, RAISE!
