Re: Bellagio final 18
James Van Alstyne is a good player that nobody has probably heard of. http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/play...a=r&n=9420
I got to play with him several times in the UPC and he is a threat even with a shortstack. |

Re: Bellagio final 18
if daniel n goes on to finish really high in this tournament i will be very impressed. he said from the start of the tournament that he was determined to win and has been playing extremely well.

Nam Le is another young dangerous player nobody has ever heard of that I've played against in California.

Re: Bellagio final 18
I wonder if Daniel will play different than normal given that he wants to finish in the final 9 (for the POY) as much as (more than?) he wants to win. I'm sure there are players at his table today that will test that theory themselves.

Re: Bellagio final 18
I would think he would. He's been talking about the POY thing an awful lot lately in his journal. Fortunately for him though, he's in a position where it'd be hard not to make the Final 9 even if he played his normal game. If he was sitting in 5th or 6th right now, it'd be a different story, and I'm sure people would put him to the test when there got to be 11 or 12 players left.
