Because if villain is doing this with a flush, it's worth it to call one bet and hope the board pairs. Hell, the same goes if the villain is doing this with a low boat.

The river fold is terrible. You don't necessarily have to raise the turn here, either.

me2 call turn/call river... i dont see the point of the turn raise... how much value could it have?

i like the river fold as the hand was played, but no reason to get yourself threebet on turn here... sure looks like he has a flush anyway.
