Default The Ultimate Bubble Hand

Can't believe I actually ran into this situation. From last night:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) converter

Villain (t7838)
BB (t3495)
Hero (t1954)
Button (t213)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t800</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB (Villain)/ raises to t4000</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero ???

PUSH!!!!!!! You double up here and you have a good shot at first place. You lose and you finish 4th, start up another SnG and laugh off the loss.

lol

Whew - I pushed.

The fact that he called and hit a set of Kings on the flop hurt. Especially since it was my last hand of the night. I will always push with Aces.

But I would be surprised if there's someone out there who wouldn't fold. ITM is 2 or 3 hands away. I would love to hear that argument.

so what's your question? are you worried about being knocked out of tournamnet as 4:1 favorite?

with coinflipping hands like TT/AK/AQ, this MAYBE debatable, but with AA/KK there is no question. you gotta realize you will win over 80% of the time and doubling up means higher chance of you taking home the 1st place. if you lose, go register for next sng. simple as that.
