Re: 5 card draw bankroll
That would do it but remember: you have to be a winning player or the biggest bankroll in the world would not suffice if you played long enough.

Re: 5 card draw bankroll
i've beaten the paradise 5/10 game when it runs over a reasonable period - i dont have records but i would guess maybe 8,000 hands - my worst downswing was $500
i have no idea about the long term but i suspect your guess is about right stripsqueez - chickenhawk |

Re: 5 card draw bankroll
I've never run worse than -50BB in any stretch at draw.

Re: 5 card draw bankroll
Same here, but I've been playing for a while and know my swings.
Kickin, have you kept notes/logs? And how many hands/hours you've played, your win/loss? I don't know the formulate for calculating standard deviation, so I've been using StatKing for that. In the end, I'd say that 100BB's is fine in Draw if you're a winning player. If you're moving up limits for the first time, or just starting to play, I'd say have the 150-200, so you don't have to play scared at all. |
