Default questions for online players from MD

had a few questions since Neteller, my preferred method for making transactions, no longer accepts accounts from Maryland.

can anyone tell me whether Firepay accepts Maryland accounts?

what banks have people had success with when using debit cards to make deposits to sites?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Maryland player here...

Yep it sucks that we cant get a neteller account..

I currently use Firepay for most of my online poker stuff...

Firepay works just like paypal...to fund firepay all you have to do is register your bank account and then you can instantly fund it from there...

Ive decided to open up a personal bank account (M&T Bank) for the sole purpose of funding and bank rolling my online poker $$$.

Hmm. I'm from Maryland, but have yet to get myself a Neteller account. Is the issue that it won't work with Maryland based banks, or they won't take Maryland based customers?

They will not accept a customer from Maryland and there is no way around it unless you have phone number address drivers license from somewhere else. Dont Fck with neteller, their security is top notch. I would recommend firepay or if you play party, you can use igm pay.

There are the occasional Firepay-only bonuses at various sites too.

Are there any fees or any drawbacks of using Firepay relative to Neteller (which has worked great for me)?

Them MD xxxxes claim to own the whole Potomac riverbed and build bars and casinos on wharfs on the Virginia side of the river and claim "This parking lot is under the authority of the Maryland ABC commission".

Neteller and Virginia rule.

UVa dominates Maryland in football and won last year like always, 16-0 on November 6. Maybe MD can score next year, thats a goal for MD to shoot for I think, but probably not achievable.

UVa lost in OT to MD last game in basketball 89-92, not what I would call "whoop ass"...

Seems like MD is the joke here.

MD is a wanna-be state, really just a stepping stone between higher quality states such as Virginia in the south and Pennsylvania in the north.

AND you can't even use Neteller!

ahahaha....I'm a UVA grad alumnus ('98) myself living in Maryland. Yes Virginia is a nice state only if ya dont live in the Northern Va/DC area. Gawd the traffic is horrible there...

Actually I root for UVA to kick UMD ass in all sports...just like to read about it in the Post the next morning

back to the topic about Maryland and Neteller. I called Neteller about it. They said something to do with Maryland's government/politics/whatever. I dont know...

Really....the only sites you are gonna have problems with Firepay is Party n' skins...thats it...no problems whatsoever with the other sites....

for party n' skins...just deposit via firepay and withdraw to your checking account. Not a big hassle my any means...

back to UMD and UVA...both suck at basketball anyways...lets root for the underdog VT!!!
