Re: Do you guys keep record of your live play?...
I use StatKing. Excel does everything SK does, so that's totally viable. You could use the OpenOffice spreadsheet program if you don't have Excel.

Re: Do you guys keep record of your live play?...
I use Poker Journal for Palm - it is easy to enter data, and easy when changing games/tables during a session. It has distince sections for "Live" and "Tourney"....

I use Poker Analyst at Cardplayer as well. I've found it to be pretty simple and tracks what I want to track.

I think its worth using StatKing just so you can see an animated photo of DS (or MM) making fun of your winrate.

Re: Do you guys keep record of your live play?...
That sounds cool. I just make a mental note and put it in my big excel thingy when I get home. I don't play live often, so this has worked fine.

Check Your Bets is also pretty easy and free, and is ok for live sessions. Since I can't use PT on my mac, i also use it for my online stuff, but it doesn't give me any information about my hands or anything, just money, game, BB/hour, etc.

Uh, isn't it absolutely necessary to keep records for the IRS if you are required to file a tax return/pay taxes under US law??
