I recently doubled up. After that I have made a few raises and the table has generally respected them, folding to them.

So I've raised a couple times in an orbit, so my raise PF here looks semi suspicious I would assume. Had flat called a 5x the bb raise from EP and then pushed an udnercard flop and he folded. Anyway, did i get the max here?

I think you played this hand pretty poorly. I dont see any reason to make a 1/5 size pot bet ever, whether its the nuts or nothing. I'd lead with a bet between 400-600 on the flop and the same on the turn then get him allin on the river.

Yeah, but I got him to bluff or at least bet the turn into me which was what I was trying to do by underbetting the pot.

I wanted it to look like "oops, I got caught this time when I've been raising so much".

I guess I was afraid of a fold on the river by betting too much. I dont even mind checking and giving a free card.

This may seem retarded...but why bet the flop???

Yeah, usually I'd check the flop, but I wanted to represent like I had a hand and wasnt trapping. I wanted it to look like I was weakly trying to protect a high pair or something.

Checking looks a little suspicious. I thought I could extract more by him sensing weakness. I'm not used to doing this, so that's why I post.

Considering the only draw he could have is the 3rd nut flush, what hand is he calling 175 with that he's not calling 400?

I hate repping a big hand on the turn because every donky does it. Here, I think it's correct though. Check the flop, if he bets, just call. Bet straight out on the turn like 1/2, maybe 3/4 pot if you trust him to give action. That's my line. No idea if it's right.
