PokerTracker freezing up?

Since I have switched over to Party Poker, whenever I open up PT and 4-table, after about 30-40 minutes my computer will start to run slowly and PT will lock up. The only way I can get it to run properly again is to CTRL + ALT + DEL and kill the process.

Why would this be happening? PT works when I am browsing through my stats/database but just not when auto-importing after some time.

do you have an nVidia graphics card? If so, and it's software's Desktop Management option is enabled, it seems to conflict with PT.
