What are your reads on the SB?

[/ QUOTE ]

Villain is loose aggressive and plays a lot of hands. He seems to be good player for this level of tournament. Earlier he raised me when I bluffed at a T22r board from the blinds.

this is enough to push me to calling the river.

Don't you hate them betting into your pot like that on the flop. It's only 200, but it's like they're saying "I've got something. It's not much, but it's something. Go ahead, raise me all-in. I might call you, I might not." I think you've got to be a man here and raise the flop to 600.

His small flop bet is designed to gauge where he stands in the hand...now he leaves you to a decision of whether or not to play the hand aggressively or play it passively. I would ahve liked to see a decent sized raise on the flop here, because i believe your opponent is weak. Calling is the worst option because you never define your hand in relation to your opponent's hand.

If you were going to call 200 all the way to the river why not take control of the hand and raise it up to 600 or so on the flop. Looks like a pretty good flop for AQ. If he call the raise then your done with the hand, but atleast you know where you are at. As for the hand you have no idea where your at...FOLD

I raise the flop to 900. If he calls and then bets the turn or checks the turn I'm check/folding here on out. It looks like pocket fives-nines and he's pretty comfortably with that board and his read that you have two high cards.

If he has a pp, why not call the minibets and draw to 6 outs?

I like the way you played it and I call the river bet. Villain's clearly a bad player, and while he's likely to have a PP here, you only have to be good 25% of the time.

I will post the results soon. Villain's play makes more sense when you know what hand he had.

I think villain's turn and river play is OK. On the flop, I think he would do better to check. I probably have a pp and ace and think that's a good flop. If not, I will think it is a good flop for a continuation bet.
