Default (10) flopped the nuts and extracted nothing

I was playing prett tight and the plan was to c/r on the flop.

I felt as if I bet every one would fold around me.

When it was checked through on the flop I relized I wasnt going to get any action.

I was hoping another heart would and hope someone had the A

If somebody has the Ah, they'll pay you starting on the flop. I'd bet out small on the flop, something like 150, and give any heart or K that feels like coming along a chance to start inflating the pot. The reason I prefer this is that the line you took forces you to make a pretty substantial river bet to get anything, and I think people are less likely to call that (particularly when they know their draws aren't going to get there) than smaller bets along the way.

Also, c/r'ing the flop seems like you're going to scare more people off than just leading weak. If you're going to let them do the betting, then just hang back and let them bet. Don't try and scare them off with the c/r. (EDIT: It's also worth noting that at lower levels, betting out on this kind of board is probably less likely to make them think you have any flush, let alone a straight flush, than the slowplay.)

I hate a c/r. I feel like it just scares people off. Bet the flop and go from there.

Yeah, and I'd do it on the turn, maybe the flop, but for sure the turn.

I'd bet like 200 on the flop and try to get everything in by the river.

Checking looks far more suspicious versus most opponents than betting does.

I wouldn't check raise the flop. I might check call but normally I think about a small bet (100-200).

When it is check through and the turn card really doesn't improve any hands, I minibet out. If you don't get called you are unlikely to have gotten paid off anyway. But there are a lot more hands that will call a turn bet than a river one (ie if he had ace of hearts, maybe a straight draw, or some people might even do it with a small pair) and some people will read your weak bet as a bluff and try to move you off your hand.
