Default Re: How do you play this with the snowmen?

Going to reply without reading any others...

1) your re-raise was too small...it costs third player 425 into a 1475 pot, more than 3-1 odds. He almost HAS to call unless he's screwing around, and/or puts you on AA/KK.

2) with that small a raise he may think YOU'RE just screwing around. A bigger raise (almost definitely a push) or a mere call is appropriate here as the pot is 750 and you only have 1625 left. This is nearly a 50% increase to your stack.

3) This "limit" betting reeks of one of two things: a great deal of inexperience on all parts, or a monster (still coupled with a great deal of inexperience) on your opponent's part.

Either way, you should push or call the reraise, not sweeten the pot with 88 giving your opponent an almost mandatory call.

My guess is Flopsea turned over AA or KK with the reads you gave us, after he caught a hand.
