i'm playing (table 47). my table plays pretty poorly -- sure wish I could hit a flop or be dealt a big pair and take advantage of all the loose passive calling stations.

Villain has been tight so far -- stats are 14/5 after about 100 hands. Thoughts? I think preflop and flop calls were questionable / bad.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

CO (t4360)
Hero (t15092)

MP1 (t6705)
MP2 (t10769)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 raises to t300, 2 folds, Hero calls t300, 1 fold, BB calls t200.

Based on Villain's tightness so far, what hands are in his range that I'm ahead of here? I'm behind AK,A10, 1010+, split with AQ. What other hands does he hold that I'm ahead of?

ur ahead of AJ, KQ, kj OR some sort of bluff

u think a tight player bets TT on flop here?

i just think you have to pay him off, or bet the turn. the pot is still small and i think ur good enuff times for it to be correct to call

Default Out in 72nd

I can think of two (possibly three) better ways to play this hand. Which of these do you think is best?

(1) Open push the flop.
(2) Push preflop.
(3) Fold preflop.

Stack size is the most important consideration here, IMO. SB has been making some loose calls preflop for 3-4xBB raises but will check-fold if he misses. CO has been pretty reasonable so far, stealing in obvious spots, but otherwise i haven't seen anything particularly fishy from him.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB (t50455)
Hero (t33278)
UTG (t23475)
UTG+1 (t90051)
MP1 (t77365)
MP2 (t8482)
CO (t76191)
Button (t106734)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, CO raises to t6000, 1 fold, SB calls t5000, Hero calls t4000.

Flop: (t15700) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets t10000, SB folds, Hero raises to t27178, CO calls t17178.

Turn: (t70056) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t70056) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t70056
