Default Northwestern -14 @ Illinois

My weekly pick on the Illini comes early; take Northwestern -14 @ Illinois

No real explanation needed. Illinois sucks really bad. Northwestern is building bowl credentials. The Illini D will not stop the Wildcats at all. NW will hang at least 40 on the Illini.

An interesting battle on the other side of the ball. NW's D is pretty porous. The Illini cannot score with a drunk sorarity girl right now. Illinois has scored 14, 7, 13, 10, 24, 2, and 3 points verse their Big10 opponents this year. Best case is 24 points IMO, even against the Wildcats.

I see a 48-20 game. I cannot believe the line is this small. Illinois has lost their last 8 games by 15, 47, 28, 23, 53, 17, 38, and 34. How can they get within 14 of a bowl team?

Repeat: Take Northwestern -14 @ Illinois

FYI-I'm 18-7 NCAA ytd on my recommendations to 2+2
I'm 6-4 ytd on the Illini my alma mater
I will be riding Ohio State -2 1/2 @ Michigan also

Bball starts Friday

Sweet man, how many units would you advise? Maximum for comfort? I really like your prediction as well.

I'm going 5, which is the most I ever do. I'm running ggood this year though, so my pockets might be looser than normal.

I jumped on NW-14 right when the line came out but is it making anyone else nervous that 90% of the public is also on NW?

They made it hard on everyone who picked them, but NW finally covered late. I went for three units on this one. Thanks, MT2R.

They were scary games but they were winners. Nicely done.

when Northwestern lost the ball on downs inside the Illinois 10 in the 4th, I was starting to sweat. That last Illini drive was a little too far as well.

Anyway, looks like I'm living right
