Default Bad - barely poker related - beat

I know, I know, this is barely poker related, but it has to qualify as a bad beat.

So Washington State made a scratch card for the lottery based on Poker - I never bought one because I don't play the lottery, especially those stupid scratch tickets. My wife gets me one for Christmas, because "it's poker". She doesn't quite get it, but she loves me and she was trying. It had four hands on it. Scratch off your two, scratch off the five community, scratch off the dealer card, and if your hand wins, you get whatever prize is there.

I'm thinking I would have rather had the $5.00 the card cost, but WTF, so I scratch it off. First hand - win $50.00. Now I like scratch cards. Next hand, nothing. Next hand, win $15.00. Now I really like scratch cards. Next hand, I scratch of quad jacks!! Quads! another winner. The dealer has...AK. Sweet. Another winner. I scratch off the prize. JESUS H PONY RIDIN' CHRIST!! $50,000!!! Now I'm dancing around the living room, my wife is almost in tears. Now I REALLY REALLY like scratch tickets.

Wait a minute...that AK is diamonds. The flops was 7,J and J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] . The Turn was Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and...you guessed it. The river was the 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Now my wife is pissed for me getting her all excited and I feel like a turkey for not paying better attention.

I hate scratch tickets. (but I'm still getting my F'in $65.00)
