55 in trouble
I have trouble playing small pairs.
Button is 26/13/1 Flop is standard? When button calls I think he might well have AK/KJs, 66, 77. I bet the turn 'cause I might be ahead and he could also dump a better hand on the 4-to-straight board. Or should I just simply check-fold? When he calls, I figure he has me beat. On the river I fire the last barrel, hoping he folds 66, 77, AT, A8 (?) The river raise is strange for me btw, hard to put him on a hand (except maybe KJ), but I don't think he's capable of bluff-raising with AK here --- CO calls, Button raises, I call in the BB with 55 Flop is rainbow 8 T Q checked to button, who bets, I raise, CO folds, button calls Turn is 9 I bet, button calls River is 9 I bet, button raises, I fold |

Re: 55 in trouble
You need to let this go sooner. This board is coordinated and all overs. I check/fold the flop, possibly peeling the turn if the guy is super LAGgro, which he isn't.

Re: 55 in trouble
i fold this on the flop. the flop is highly coordinated and will hit one of their two hands here 90% of the time. just not worth it.

Re: 55 in trouble
Yeah. fold the flop. Even if your hand is best now it won't be at showdown.
