"So, to answer your requests specific penalty times, I say "1 week"."

And second time, they're done.

No kneeling. As they are keeling over from the blow, take some penalty chips out of their stack. They'll never miss them if you keep it even.

"If he's testing you than he's simply a prick and unless he's dead money "

I don't care how dead of money the jerk may be.

"Wow, some people don't like to read entire post. I never said I had a problem with cussing..thus "it affects me, too"(sorry Larry)...I said I don't like G.D. "

Read ALL of my posts in this thread to get a true picture of what I understand about your goals.

I'm pretty much in agreement with what you have said. I was apologizing for the spelling error.

If it were me and there was an understanding that there were certain things I wouldn't tolerate, if someone did it just to piss me off I'd talk to him after the game and say that it ends now or he's not coming back. It's your place, you make the rules.

I wouldn't wait until after the game. Like a dog, you have to catch him in the act and punish him at that point.

My suggestion -- wait for him to pee on the carpet (say GD) and ask him to step outside. If it's in the middle of a hand, pause the clock. Once outside, you ask him politely w/o yelling (sounds like he's trying to get a rise out of you and trying to get laughs, can't get laughs outside) "Will you stop saying GD? If not, you're not going back in, or ever coming back.".

If he can't conform to your rules, refund his buy in and let him know he's not invited back. In that case, mention when you walk back in that he is not coming back. I think penalties are a bad idea. It should be all or nothing, especially if he's trying to goat you by saying it more often.

I take issue with the use of G.D.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just curious...what's your issue with the use of G.D.?

Is the use of G.D. ok when appropriately used?

As a penalty, get a shiny, cute tiara that must be worn by the offender who inappropriately uses G.D.

In my regular home game, cursing is common, encouraged even; however, the penalty for "girlie" bets is wearing the "tiara".....
