Default What are my chances?

I made the nut flush on the river today and my internet got disconnected and party claims I had no disconnect protects left (which is bs unless they somehow blew them on another hand while I got disconnected...) and awarded the pot to the other player. The guy on the phone told me to email info@partypoker.com with attention manager as the subject so here's the hand and then the email I sent:

"I was playing on party poker this afternoon when my internet connection got disconnected. I was in hand#2925235132 with the absolute best possible hand when my internet connection went out. Disconnect protect should have kicked in and made me all-in, but instead my hand was folded. I just got off the phone with Sachin, who claims I had no disconnect protects when the hand began. I believe that is what the system thought is the case, but there is no way this is true. I always make sure to have them when I'm playing as I want to avoid this exact situation.

I play between 30,000 and 50,000 hands per month on party poker and usually pay more than $10,000 in rakes. I would hate to have our relationship sour and need to take my business elsewhere.

There is no way LuckBoxLLC01 deserved to win this pot and my account should be rewarded $763.

Thank you for your time,

0% chance

no way you're getting the money. where would it come from? they don't want to eat the loss that's for sure, and certainly they're not going to take it from the other play, nor is that the right thing to do.

also putting stuff like this:

in an email to party is just asking for it. while that statement is easily understood by most intelligent folks, party support... well,.. you'll see. you'll probably get a standardized message back explaining about how you can trade in party points for a tote bag.

What are your chances that you would lose this type of hand to a guy who just HAPPENS to go by the name 'luckbox'?

If you paid my site over $10K per month in rake or even less, I'd give you the money without any grief, as a customer relations matter.

We notify players in the client if their all-ins expire and Hosts can provide 24/7 coverage for all-in resets for just such a reason.

This is a small amount compared to your value as a customer.

your email is very good and they should pay the money out of pocket this one time and notify you about how to check your all ins for future reference and how to get them reset if needed.

what if this is 100/200 NL game and we are talking about a $50,000 pot?

I understand you are saying that truepoker would value BK as a customer more than $763, but of course you would because your problem is that you can't get enough players. Party has other problems like customer retention and fraud protection. and you really can't speak for party here if you have no idea what party's margins are on one player like BK and what they can reasonably afford to do in this situation. it very well may be better for party to continue to spend their $763 on bringing in new fish for BK to feast on. you're acting like you are on the moral high ground but you're really just kissing up.

BK: would you consider $330 fair? just curious what you really think party should do about this just on principle.

LOL, How on earth can anybody pay $10,000 in rake at a place with almost no games?

Wishful thinking?

Let me add that the fact that you are in here all day long hunting opportunities to promote (to use a kind word) your ghost town shows how boring, long and desperate your working days must be.

Kindly,
William
