Reraise to $12 preflop. Raise the flop.

12 is too big of a raise Preflop imo. Make it $8 and raise the flop. You played this too passively.
Of course two overs + FD isn't that strong if you think your opponent won't fold. Part of the juice in a semi bluff is being able to hit hard and win the pot without having to make your multiple-out-but-still-drawing hand. |

Re: Nut flush draw faces $15 bet on turn??Call?? $50NL
Here is how the hand finished:
hero folds to $15 bet mbot calls $15 stor raises to $28 brac calls 13 mbot calls 13 POT now $120 River 2h (damn my fold all to hell) brac bets 9 mbot allin $13 brac calls $4 POT $146 (this is huge, huge, huge at $50 NL) brac show 6h7h or a flush and J high stir shows 67 off suit for a straight mbot shows KK And that how donkeys toss away great calling hands. In my defense , I had to call the raise $15 BEFORE i knew if anyone else would go along. I was pretty confident that the turn filled a straight for someone. My odds we 9 hearts out of 46 = 18% to hit it on one card. I'm rationalizing. Useful comments please!!! |

It is not necessary to reraise preflop here, especially with your position. That being said, I do shove a lot of chips in on that flop.
