Re: Trouble with KQ
I fold this. Pot odds are better than 2:1, so I think it's a call until you look at your stack situation. You're almost definitely behind, and could be up against AK, AQ, AA. You're still fine relative to the playing field with 2365 if you fold. Call this and lose, you're pretty much done. If I was sure the rest of the field was better than me (especially if BB is), I would take my pots odds and call. Otherwise, I fold. Reads could sway what I would do as well.

Re: Trouble with KQ
You fold, your equity = .182
You call and win = .321 You call and lose = .086 .321x + .086(1-x) = .182 .321x + .086 - .086x = .182 .235x = .096 x =~ .41 You have to win about 41% of the time. As Adanthar would say, "put him on a range." Is he likely to try and punish you for going after his blind? |

...would he push if he woke up with 99?

Re: Trouble with KQ
I probably fold this since that leaves you with 2400. However, bear in mind that if villain is doing this with any ace or a low pocket pair, you have good pot odds to call.
I think a call is good here if you have enough conviction of your ability to play big stack. In other words, if you get lucky, you'll have T5000, enough to push the other stacks around. When you have T2400, you have just about average. |

Re: Trouble with KQ
Probably, but that's not enough to know unless you think he only pushes with 99. You are better than 41% against 99, but I doubt you are against 99+, AQs, AKo. Maybe if you take AA and KK out of the range though.
Some players might push there with 78. That would make a big difference. |

Re: Trouble with KQ
Let it go. No need to take a stand here. You've still got plenty of chips.
