Default collecting vintage poker chips

i am thinking about starting. can anyone recommend any websites, books, etc for new collectors. tips, is this discussed much on 2+2?

do you have the "old poker chips" screen saver yet? it's pretty cool. it just flashes pics of hundreds of different old chips. i dont have the link handy but i found it on google.

If you're interested in poker chips, the best place online to find kindred souls is chiptalk.net -- chiptalk link

Chiptalk is the place for REALLY serious chip fanatics -- most of the guys there are/were big 2+2 posters here in home poker, but most of the talk about chips (both new and vintage) has moved there since it was set up.

I'm not really sure how it works, but if you do sign up for the forums, I may be able to get some referral points. My name there is the same as here -- bolgenmod. But whatever. If you want to talk to people who really know their chips, chiptalk is the place.
