Too formulaic without any regard to texture of the game. I would suggest we focus on quality starting hands, strength of position and the Gap Concept ("better hand to call a raise than to make raise") instead.

Thanks! I haven't checked it against starting hand sets I use, but it seems like something very easy to remember. Of course, it must have reasonable validity to be useful.
