Re: 20/40 vs. Solid player
Notice how I'm playing real tight? It's BECAUSE I'm drunk. Also means I won't do any such thing.

Re: 20/40 vs. Solid player
if he doesnt have the flush he isnt a solid player or good hand reader. and if he does he isnt a good player either. so for your assertion to be correct he has three kings and you can go to war. except he should know you have three aces and wont unless your assertion is wrong.

Re: Hello,Bartolow! His most likely hand on 5th is K\'s up ...
[ QUOTE ]
Nice raise on 5th.. EVEN if he does have the flush! [/ QUOTE ] You might want to rethink that. He would have been a 1.8 to 1 underdog to win the hand, and he would only have gotten 1:1 on his raise. [/ QUOTE ] Conclusion: a good player couldn't raise on 5th street, so he isn't a good player. |

Re: 20/40 vs. Solid player
Most of this has been covered by other posters. On third, since it's gone to heads-up, I would only flat call the other guy's raise. This is deceptive and should allow you to get a raise in on an expensive street.
I assume that this guy can't have a flush on fifth. With three hearts gone, he shouldn't be calling with a three-flush on third, let alone raising. Either he's got trips or maybe two pair, in which case you can raise until the cows come home, whatever that's supposed to mean. |

Re: 20/40 vs. Solid player
This is with the dead cards seen on 3rd as well. You have him in a bad spot. Either way, I don't see why you wouldn't want to raise on fifth.. Its not like it isn't a big bet street.

Re: 20/40 vs. Solid player
Well, if he doesn't even have a flush draw then I don't want him to fold. That's why I considered not reraising 5th.
